Subscriptions to both near and far went in the mailbox today and I can't wait for you all to receive them!  As you begin working, please check out the brand new flickr group I created just for you.  It thrills me to know that people as near as Queens and as far as Sweden are working on these this month, and I would LOVE to see what you come up with.  Thanks so much for being a part of the club......

Samplers of the Month: Pansies and Feather Stitches...

I spent Friday packaging up everyone's monthly subscriptions, and somehow managed to get them out the door and into the mailbox before Saturday.  Some of you might even have them on your kitchen counters by now.... I've been having so much fun sitting in the glow of the radiator stitching these Colorburst Samplers in the late afternoons.  In a season without a lot of color, they make me really happy.   This one, Pansy, is in the mail now.  I stitched mine with back stitch, running stitch, french knots, and Algerian eyes.  How would/will you stitch yours? Happy New Year, and a deadline.......

Happy New Year everybody!  This year, the holidays felt more welcome than ever.  I had a very busy December, and relished almost every minute of my break.   It felt so good to bake cookies and lounge around, to indulge in this fabulous cocktail, and to catch up on last season's Downton Abbey.   Things are slowly getting back to normal around here, with the rogue cocktail and bits of Babka left over from New Year's Eve popping up now and then.   I mean, it would be too bad to say goodbye altogether to the merriment, no? In the spirit of the new year, I'm in the midst of a big reorganization in the studio.  It's too much of a horrible mess right now to show you a picture, so I'll show you this... the in process view of this year's first sampler.  Thank You so much to everyone who has subscribed!  I am starting to address your envelopes this weekend, and can't believe just how many of you there are!   If you are still thinking of Subscribing , ...

Goodbye? No, Hello!

After four (almost five) years of Blogging here at Blogspot, I've officially moved.  Please join me on my new website.  It's cleaner, brighter, easier to make sense of, and just all around better.  There's even official new logo.   Of course, it's just me over here in the Dropcloth headquarters, so I might have missed a thing or two, in which case, let me know!
